Power hour
This morning’s work out was great. Always the perfect balance of Cardio and Weight lifting. Today’s focus was Squats, leg presses, leg extensions, stairs and more squats! The thing I’ve been struggling with the most recently has been my own personal motivation. The greatest part about Boot-camp4u is still its awesome staff of personal trainers. From the moment I walk in the door, I’m re motivated by the trainers agenda and personal focus on the workout, and forget all about my lack of energy to work out again. I can say the greatest benefit so far has been, just feeling good all the time. I feel more alert, more awake, more energy, and more healthy. I’m excited to stay on track through spring to be in shape for summer!

Another week begins
I have to admit, that I have slowed down my progress quite a bit lately, by simply not coming every morning. I hate being one to make up excuses but there’s been a lot of sickness going on, and I have been catching it. It is definitely time once again, to re commit myself to progress, and hold that image of a more healthy me to find the motivation I need to keep going. I forget that living in Utah we have this thing called winter that we have to combat, to get just simple things done. Time to start making excuses to succeed, not to fail.

LEG DAY!
Today is Monday yet again, and we were lucky enough to start the week off with my ultimate favorite, LEGS! I was a little hesitant to see that we had running included into the mix. My little brain kept saying, “if your legs are getting worked out and sore, how are you possibly going to run?” But, run we did, and it actually felt pretty amazing. I’m pretty sure that most the credit can go towards the fact that, after working out more and more, my muscles are finally getting stronger and I’m able to perform a little better without totally collapsing in complete exhaustion. In the past it usually took me about 3 days to recover from leg workouts, and now that I think I’ve progressed, I’m hoping it takes more like, 1-2 days. Only time will tell. At any rate, the work out is still awesome, and it’s been cool to see so many people coming in and joining us!

Still going
For all of you who know that sometimes life gets in the way and it becomes an actual challenge to get up in the morning to keep working out, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. I can say that as much as I had committed my self, life found a way in and threw me off balance. BUT, I am glad to say that it didn’t last long, and after missing a week, I am back on the road to a more healthy me. I am still amazed at the way the trainers set up the workouts to give you a balance of Cardio and a certain muscle group. There are many different exercises you can do to reach certain muscles and I honestly think they do a good job picking the right ones. The motivation they bring to the table can not be found elsewhere! I am glad to be back on track, and am glad my body and metabolism have stayed active to keep me wanting to work out more and more. Christmas is just around the corner, and so is New Years. We all know how many people add “getting in shape” to their New Year’s Resolution list! Except this year you can do it the right way. Make the resolution, but use the strength of the personal trainers to actually reach your goals. I KNOW it is helping me.

NO MORE VEST~
Today was my first day without the vest, and I must say, WOW, it sure was nice to have it off. The first week with it on, really kicked my body into shape though. I think I might put it back on once a week, we’ll see
. I have been weighing my self almost every day to watch my results, as I work out, and eat. The usual up and downs were the result, but when I weighed in this morning, I noticed I was at 220. Pretty good where last Monday I was at 223. SO 3 pounds in the first week, is a pretty decent amount of weight lost. I am happy with that result! And naturally more motivated to keep going. My favorite thing about the program is the way my trainer sets up the work outs. It’s always a good amount of Cardio, mixed with not just one muscle, but a focus on the all around muscle group. It feels a lot better in recovery than it used to, when I would just burn out one set of muscles. SO, once again, thank you to my personal trainer! And thanks for the measurable results in my weight loss.
I SERIOUSLY LOVE THIS PROGRAM.

Second Week
Today was the start of week 2, and I must admit, that I was looking forward to coming back and working out after the long week end. It felt good to have a break and rest up a little bit. It felt even better to feel the new wave of energy that I had for the work out today. It really is amazing the way the body works. I really do appreciate the assistance of the trainers, and look forward to the rest of the week! COME AND WORK OUT! YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!
